
what happens if you love the soup, but the soup will not love you back? you add dumplings. yes, so what if the broth was a product of a previous meal, i love it all the same. these dumplings puff up when you add them to the soup, much like a male bird vying for a female attention with its flair.
kletzki (russian dumpling)
1/2 cup flour,2 tablespoons butter, 2 eggs, 1/4 cup soup broth.
in a pan, warm broth with butter unitl melted, dump the flour and mix until the mass resembles playdough. take off the heat and beat in 2 eggs in a kitchenaid with a flat paddle until well incorporated. Warm the soup broth and with an edge of a spoon, add the dough into the soup. boil till done. enjoy!
